For nature-lovers the magico of our countryside, of a day spent discovering our
cuisine, born from the simplest and most genuine ingredients, our seasonal
specialities: mushrooms, truffles, honey, cheese.
Sogliano and the cheese production
Let’s spend one full day discovering some of the most typical traditions of our
land. Participants will visit one of the most famous dairies in Sogliano, where
they will learn the different seasoning and manufacturing phases of the
“formaggio di fossa” production. Then guests will see the preparation of “testi”,
typical iron pans to cook the characteristic handmade bread called “piadina”
and compete in dressing this delicacy.
The farm
A programme of activities held in a farm holiday centre of the Romagna
countryside. Trials of skill involving ability to manage farm labour and rural
crafts, like spinning wool, dressing skins, rope-making, harvesting olives,
shelling walnuts and cracking whips in time to music…
Alternative activities may be organized for larger groups.
